The Ladies of the Afternoon Bridge Society meet every two weeks on Tuesday…for Lunch at noon and Bridge at 1PM…at Stone Ridge Golf Club…year round. We welcome all levels of play!

The Antique Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 PM from September through May except for January and February. Our programs are varied; covering antiques, vintage items, and collectibles. We generally meet in members’ homes but occasionally take a field trip. Dessert is always a part of the evening.
ART MUSEUM GROUPS
These groups meet once a month for a lecture and tour at The Toledo Art Museum.
Additional dues will be determined after groups are formed.
Wednesday Morning Art Museum Group

This group meets at the museum on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 11:15 AM for the 11:30 tour. Many members go to lunch together at the museum café following the tour.
Wednesday Afternoon Art Museum Group

BGSU ARTS GROUP

This group will attend one selected arts performance at BGSU each month. It may be a music or theater performance or a fine arts exhibit. There are many options to choose from so Lee Starks (group leader) will work to provide a good variety over the course of the academic year. Most performances and exhibits are free, however, some performances may require a fee of $8.00 to $10.00 (or more for the opera or larger musical theater productions). Options chosen will take into account the University's position on COVID-19 and the number of audience members allowed based on the space in which it is presented.

Unleash your creativity and inventiveness while learning to make fun, pretty, and seasonal decorations for your home or yard.
Cost for materials will vary each month. Attendance may be limited by month and/or project.
This group plans to meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.

This new garden group will visit local home gardens, including our own, take trips to public gardens and greenhouses, and discuss best practices of gardening. The group will meet once a month during April, May, August, September and October. They will meet twice a month during June and July at 9:00 am, usually on Wednesday, although the meeting date may be flexible depending upon what we will be doing. There will be no fee for the group, but there may be entrance fees to public gardens, and we will divide the cost of gas when car pooling is involved.

Whether you're new to knitting or have a current project you're working on, this group is for you. Anyone interested in getting together to knit/crochet is welcome. We meet weekly on Thursdays from 2-4 pm at Grounds for Thought. Great conversation and beautiful projects can be had. We meet year round except for the holidays.

THINKERS - A discussion group

Would you like to discuss topics of current interest with other members of University Women?
A new interest group, Thinkers, is being formed. The co-ed group would meet quarterly to discuss a predetermined topic. One member will lead with a few questions and then the group will share their opinions and/or expertise. The idea is to dive into topics and learn from each other.
Potluck food and drinks, of course, enjoyed in each other’s homes.

TOOTs (The Out Of Tuners)

Members of TOOTs will learn how to sing in tune, using solfege and other ear-training exercises as well as sing in harmony,
become familiar with notation, rhythm, meter, and tackle singing in front of an audience.
Group sessions will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 pm the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
We meet at the BG Church of the Nazarene, 1855 Gorrill Rd, BG.
TRAVELERS GROUP

The Travelers group, composed of both individuals and couples, typically meets from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the 4th Sunday of the month from September through May. The schedule for 2024-2025 may have some exceptions due to holidays. Each month one or more members present hints and highlights about trips they have taken; from Yellowstone to Bhutan, from Ireland to Indonesia. Meetings are held in members’ homes or occasionally in a larger venue (which allows for more participants) and feature pot-luck food and beverage items. Members are requested to host, co-host, and/or present periodically.
