Celebrate
100th Anniversary
1924 - 2024
University Women of BGSU was honored to be invited to celebrate their 100th Anniversary at BGSU's University House. The annual Fall Brunch was held there on August 17th. Members were the guests of BGSU President, Dr. Rodney Rogers and University Advocate, Dr. Sandra Earle. In addition to the beautiful weather, there was a lovely brunch buffet. Both Dr. Rogers and Dr. Earle thanked University Women for their support of BGSU over the years and for providing scholarships for non-traditional women students.

Surprise Speaker at
UW FALL BRUNCH
The annual fall gathering of University Women of BGSU was held Saturday, August 26, 2023 when approximately eighty members and guests gathered to kick off the organization’s 99th year. This year’s president, Becky McOmber, welcomed members and introduced speaker BGSU President Dr. Rodney Rodgers and featured speaker Olympic Gold Medalist Dave Wottle. A video of Dave's gold medal race preceded his inspiring and entertaining talk.
In addition, the four winners of the organization’s annual scholarship for non- traditional women students of BGSU were introduced. Sarah Combs, Jennifer Cothern, Tiffany Lake, and Brandy Pollick each spoke briefly about themselves and thanked the organization. Mary Lynne Pozniak, Scholarship Committee chair, shown on far right.
