Barbara Ruland 419-575-9997, barbararuland1@gmail.com
Sandy Wicks 419-378-1216, nattysandy@yahoo.com
This group will generally meet at 10:00 am on the third Saturday at Grounds for Thought to discuss books that have been challenged or banned. The group will meet from October through May, skipping December. Sandy has secured the table at the front window of the Grounds for Thought "annex” for our meetings. That is on the Main Street end of the shop, to the north of the front door/coffee counter. The group will meet from October through May, skipping December.
First Meeting - October 22, 2022 at 10:00 am
At the first meeting the group will vote on the choice of books for the upcoming year. Then the group will discuss the book Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews, a young adult novel that hit the American Library Association’s top 10 list of most-challenged books in 2021. Contact Barbara to join and receive a list of books for consideration. You are also welcome to suggest a banned or challenged book that is not on the list.
