​Who We Are

University Women of BGSU are women who are interested in promoting and fostering an interest in Bowling Green State University and its surrounding communities.​

UW Objectives

Formally, the main objective of the University Women is to encourage a friendly and cooperative spirit within its diversified membership and to foster a continuing interest in Bowling Green State University and its surrounding communities. Additionally, we strive to encourage and assist part time or full-time undergraduate women through our scholarship funding.

Informally, we provide social fellowship and fun for our members, primarily through various smaller interest groups.  New members are welcome at any time.  The entire group meets as well for planned social events throughout the year, at which time spouses and friends who may want to join are encouraged to attend.  
 
Our special interest groups include gardening, antiques, art museum, bridge, community service, knitting/crocheting, book groups, lunch bunch, travelers, music, movies, and more.

Dues

 Members are responsible for annual dues (presently $20 per year).  They are also responsible for paying any interest group fees for the groups they wish to join.
