​ANTIQUES:

Our Antiques Group meets September to May on the second Tuesday of the month @7:00 PM. We are a group of women who enjoy getting together once a month for a talk (and sometimes we learn something new), dessert, and friendship…as long as everyone can get home around 9:00 o’clock. Additional dues for this group are $5.00.

 
ART MUSEUM GROUPS

     These groups meet once a month for a lecture and tour at The Toledo Art Museum.  Additional dues will be determined after groups are formed.

Wednesday Morning:

This group meets at the museum at 11:15 AM for the 11:30 tour, and many members go to lunch together at the museum café following the tour.
 
Wednesday Afternoon:

            This group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month in September, October, March, April,  May. Our December meeting is the first Wednesday. We are a good group and could use some new members.

   We meet at 1:00 PM in front of the gift shop in the museum.


AFTERNOON LADIES BRIDGE :

The Afternoon Ladies Bridge Society meets Tuesday at 1PM, every two weeks at member’s homes. Champagne is served at 3PM. Level of play is somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.
We have 1-2 tables each meeting.


COMMUNITY SERVICE:

This dynamic group meets to organize sponsorship of one or more local families during the holiday season. This includes collecting money and food items from the organization, buying items, wrapping gifts, and delivering items to the families.


GARDEN CLUB:

The Garden Group meets the 4th Monday of each month for anyone who has an interest in gardening. There are guest speakers with topics of interest for anyone who enjoys the challenges of perfecting their garden areas. Meetings are held either in member homes or in gardening centers. Additional dues for the group are $10.00.


GENEOLOGY GROUP:

​     Our group “Zoom”s on the second Monday of each month at 7PM. We are a group with mixed genealogy hunting experience and the amount of genealogy information that we have varies from “little ole’ me” to “tombs of information”. 
     Each month, I will talk about helpful resources and provide a document for members to copy and use to record their information. These will be shared on a Google Drive where you can copy and save your own copy to use.

KNITTING/CROCHETING (Knitwits):

Whether you're new to knitting or have a current project you're working on, this group is for you. Anyone interested in getting together to knit/crochet is welcome. We meet weekly on Thursdays from 2-4PM at Grounds for Thought. Great conversation and beautiful projects can be had. We meet year round except for the holidays.
 
LITERARY GROUPS (BOOK CLUBS)
Due to the high interest of our literary groups, some are currently filled.  But if enough people are interested,

This group meets on varying dates of the month at noon for lunch at a local restaurant.  A different place is selected each time!  Dutch treat.  A great way to meet new and old friends!

TOOTs (The Out Of Tuners):

Learn to sing in tune, using solfege and other ear-training exercises.  Learn how to sing in harmony, become familiar with notation, rhythm, meter, and tackle singing in front of an audience.  Group sessions will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. the first and third Mondays of each month.

UNIVERSITY WOMEN TRAVELERS:

"The Travelers" meet the fourth Sunday of each month between 5:00 and 7:00 PM to share travel stories, pictures and information.  Members and spouses take turns leading a session based on a topic or destination such as Italy, India or the Canadian Rockies. As always, food and drink are welcome.
