Geneology

Our group “Zoom”s on the second Monday of each month at 7PM. We are a group with mixed genealogy hunting experience and the amount of genealogy information that we have varies from “little ole’ me” to “tombs of information”. Regardless, we are starting at square one just the same.
Each month, I will talk about helpful resources and provide a document for members to copy and use to record their information. These will be shared on a Google Drive where you can copy and save your own copy to use.
It is my hope that once things calm down we might take a day trip to the Rutherford B. Hayes Library in Fremont, OH. I hear it is second to the LDS Library when it comes to researching ancestors.
Finally, each month there is a homework assignment. There is no grade assigned whether you complete it or skip it, but I find (as a retired teacher) that committing to completing it will make your history more meaningful for yourself and future generations that inherit your work.
It’s never too late to join! If you have any questions, please contact me at julie.s.every@gmail.com or you can text me at 575-802-3555.
